Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 3-5

Whaat, clash between Dikgacoi/Parker, ref booked them both, then Parker argued and he had the card pack out again ready to book him, then walked away, spoke to the assistant, came back on and sent Dikgacoi off in a straight red!

Really strong Chelsea team. I hope we start well and keep the tempo high. Massive test for young Insua today, he needs to be on his best form.

I fear if Drogba and Anelka are playing well, Chelsea may run away with it.

3-2.. Not saying who though :)

Anyone know when Aquiliani slated to be fit again? lol

Ivanović - He's from Serbia and he'll ******* murder ya!

Agreed, was comforting to hear them words. Although he shouldn't have to, he has shown nothing but professionalism and passion while in an Arsenal shirt IMO

You should learn from Ronaldo never to trust a word he says, as soon as Barca really come knocking he'll be off.

On a further note, could the BBC get any further up Arsenal's ****? The text commentary today sounds like it was written by Wenger himself, not a journalist!

To be fair, did you see the game? It was Arsenal at their best, and worst with the defending.

EDIT - Why isn't Rafa starting Benayoun? Craziness.

Good performance by Arsenal, attacking wise we were brilliant and Fabregas was just OMG!

Defence still needs working on, although Mannoe was at fault for the first one. Still, a win is a win against a potentially tricky team!

Excellent Arsenal performance although defensively we are still pretty suspect...2 goals that should have never been but nevermind 6 goals is more than enough with us taking 3 pts so am pretty happy with that.

Glad to see Walcott back in action and getting a goal...some with Bender boy as well. Fabregas absolutely awesome as usual and deserved his goal...Verminator just simply awesome left foot strike...another awesome buy from Wenger.

Now just hope Liverpool hold Chelsea to a draw or sneak a win....hopefully Drogba will break a leg as well.

Oh dear. Fulham 2-1 up away from home and with 10 men? West Ham are in dire straights at the moment both on the pitch and off it.

We played awful first half, second with 10 men playing a lot, lot better. Took off our best striker too, but partly 'cos with his shoulder he can't go in with defenders anymore :(

I've seen drunks with better balance than Torres had that day. Don't know if Rafa had a word but he's not going down at the slightest touch as much as he did at the start of the season and that Bolton game seems to have been the turning point.

Fair enough, but a hattrick is a hattrick. And, they weren't tap ins.
