Arsenal look a bit ... deflated ?

esp after the two goals they've let in, Arsenal could and probably should be crusing, but their inability to score really hurts them against defensive counter attacking teams, which is all Chelsea have really done so far.

Arsenal have the plays, but no finishes. Rather then hitting the goal straight on the seem to be playing right up to the line and then getting closed off.

Abe will be coming on at half-time I think.

We've got the plays, skill and possession, but absolutely collapse on the defense and finish. Says it all really: 69% possession, and 1-0 down 20 odd minutes in.

Thing is we haven't even been defending particularly well, last ditch maybe but most of their balls are penetrating our back line with ease. Our first goal was a tad fortuitous (harsh foul) and the second was a great strike. Better finishing for arsenal could have easily seen them score two goals.

I know its a bit off the current thread conversation, but I have only just got back from the beach.

I think that Utd win pretty much seals the title for them, I really cant see Wigan having whats needed to win , or indeed Bruce particularly wanting to throw a spanner into Utds works. So I would expect Utd to comfortably take the points from that match too. Even if Arsenal manage to beat Utd after that, I cant see Hull in their current form beating Utd on the last day.

On the plus side, its been a decent end to the season, closer and more interesting than it could have been if things had taken a different course of events a few months ago.

Got to say though, I am really looking forward to Newcastle v Boro tomorrow, could be a real english style grit game.

I'm not looking forward to going to OT next week now and see utd lift the title :(

Been really impressed with malouda, Hiddink has somehow managed to convince him to add effort to his game and he's looked a completely different player

Edit: 3-0 Ouch

Think that's the game in the bag for us.

Cant belive all these arsenal players have been injured at some point of the season.
