Rio Ferdinand is having a shocking game from what I'm hearing on the radio, every single cross gets past him and he hasn't won a header yet.

They havn't really had many crosess, he pulled out a few decent tackles though.

Van der sar is having a cracking game, 2 superb saves so far.

Vidic is getting forward well to which is good to see, be nice to see him get a decent run in the starting 11.

I'm not bitter about us losing, we were by far the worst side, but everton won't get anywhere in europe imo. If they were more consitent ALL season then they might actually do well against some european sides. I dont want them to be in europe purely for the fact they'd be humiliated

I just got excited after seeing Van getting warmed up, then the camera panned and i also saw Fletcher warming up

Which means Fergie'll probably go for something stupid now like bring ronaldo who's been pretty good off for fletcher, and then o'shea off for ruud and rooney back into midfield

We played and matched Villareal over 2 legs, and if not for a very wrongly disallowed goal might well have gone through. I don't call that being humiliated. We had one bad performance away in the Uefa when inexperience got the better of us, but that was no real surprise.

Still, at least we got there

Decent goal by Saha,

Rooney almost had a repeat of his first last week when the defender was about to head back to the keeper and Rooney knew exactly what was happening, keeper claimed it well though
