Is there anything on the US psn that really makes it worthwhile creating an account, eg. is Pain really worth the money?
PAIN is great and I would have to say yes.
You should 100% create a US PSN account though, they get demo's way before us.

UK update is here w00t!
Anyway nothing exciting nut here it is anyway,
Flow expansion pack. £1.99
Guitar hero 3: No doubt - track pack £3.99
Shivering isles trailer
Wipeout hd trailer
Another Uncharted trailer
Not sure if thats gonna be it, probably will. At last i can get my hands on the flow expansion!
Think the US one is going to have the Rocketman game that XBLA had yesterday.
Now on the Japanese PSN store is a demo for Echochrome for both the PS3 and PSP. Had a little go and its good, havent quite got how all the rules work completely yet, only found out part way through that the tutorial is in English. Only had a chance to play the first couple of puzzles and i can see that this game will be great fun when its released. No date for a US/UK demo but i dont think you really need to wait to play it as like i said its pretty self explanatory.
Found this posted on another site it list the controls and a few hints,
Controls:
Left or Right Stick: Spins perspective
Hold R1: increases speed you spin the screen
Hold L1 : Activates motion sensor to spin perspective instead of the left or right stick, not tried it yet but probably quite hard
Press Triangle: Goes into "thinking mode" , bloke stops moving but you can still move the screen around
Hold X: Character walks faster
Square: Snap the edges together to get a clean connection.
Select: Toggles timer / control instructions
Start: Pause (can't control perspective)
Hint #1: To skip the tutorial (which starts every time you start the demo), just pause and press X after the charcter lands
Hint #2: Title screens shows different levels being played out. Useful to understand game logic. Not looking forward to do these they get me confused looking at them.
Man the updates are getting earlier!!! So it's taken about 3 months for us to get the fl0w expansion!!! (I am sure you remember how annoyed I was when i bough the USA version of the expansion and it didn't work on my UK copy of the game!!).
rp2000
I'm glad they have added puzzles because the original version "ole coordinate system" is crap.
Have you tried it yet? Its quite a short demo but you kinda get the idea, think i fluked the last level though!
