Weekly Playstation Store Update thread

I heard great things about ES in Games TM - the review said it was one of the best games on the ps3!

SSHD has spoiled me :), it has certainly raised the bar in what to expect from a 2d shooter on psn. ES doesn't even seem to have more than 8 way directional shooting, even on the analogue stick. ES is definitely a 75% - 80% game for me, with a fair bit of replay value. The concept of ES is really good, and it pulls those ideas off really well. It just doesn't have everything I would expect it to have, after playing SSHD, especially for the same price as SSHD. It is though, a very different experience to SSHD :) [/opinion :)]

Suck it up and get a Mastercard or Virtual Visa! Pain and Supper Puzzle Fighter HD are never coming to the EU store!!

rp2000

Yeah was looking at ways to pay today, I have a Mastercard but didn't try that so I'll give it a go.

If not, entropay (I have used it to buy loads of stuff).

I would share my copy, but I have already used my 5 licenses, unless you know someone else who has purchased it and is willing to share?

No idea if anyone else has it but thanks for the offer :) I'm just looking at the Entropay website now.

Poop! I was hoping Pain would appear in the UK store this week.

I got an automated mail from the Playstation store this week, it states, amongst other things, right at the bottom

PSN Email said:
Coming soon to PLAYSTATION Store (PS3)

Blast Factor™ Advanced Research Pack: Return to your G-18 Nanite Interceptor to do battle with another bout of microscopic adversaries.
High Velocity Bowling™: Experience the fun and rivalry of the bowling alley in your living room!
Dark Mist™: Many dangers await in the blackness – download Dark Mist and let there be light!
Pain: Windows, gas canisters, buildings, scaffolding – nothing is safe from the sights of a giant catapult.

EDIT: I was assuming they'd get added this week, but maybe coming soon will be next week?
Alternatively, as rp2000 said, if you can get a payment method, then getting from the US store works :)

Apparently a PAIN add-on is coming to the US store today...

As for PAIN in the UK, the Playstation website still lists it as having a Feb 08 release date so must be next week :o We'll see :p

Why did they send out this e-mail if they don't back it up with downloads?
