The real silliness is them not releasing it online yesterday. Clearly they make more money per downloadable unit then each packages unit!!!

This is a CRAZY launch for the biggest game of the year so far on ps3!!!

Indeed, we need to find someone who was not so annoyed at not being able to download the game yesterday that they didn't goto a shop today and buy the retail copy instead, for cheaper!! Sadly I sense very few of these guys around (although if you are reading and want to share the copy with me, I am happy to test it etc).

It's gone, I think. Also when I installed the full game it overwrote the demo (ps3). Weird. There is no way I will get time to play *** amazing Echochrome since I got the PixelJunk Monsters Encore addon!!!

Yeah, but at the level select screen picking the left island loads the old game, picking the right island (Tiki?) picks new ones. I think you are on Encore cos it says 5 rainbows to progress on mine as well, Encore seems a lot tougher to get rainbows, the "easy" levels don't seem aptly named.

There is also a Naruto Demo, but you have to log onto your US PSN account to download it. All in all the 2nd one is a vast improvement over the first in content and it still has a silly game of pong if you press L2 on the menu.

Don't waste money on 1942. By all accounts it is a 30-60 minute game with no replay value. (Buy the 360 version if you really want to play it now). I buy a lot of PSN games, but I can honestly say I have played all of them for hours at least. This sounds like really poor value tbh.

Played the Bionic Commando demo on the Japan store. Not as impressive as I thought it would be. 50/50 on whether I get this when it comes out on USA store tomorrow.

No. Only had $13 in my USA wallet so took a punt and just bought Bionic Commando (Plus I am convinced 1942 has no replay value from all I read). I am hoping it is better than the Japan demo I played. The challenge thing that was on the demo I enjoyed, and I only just found out this is on PS3 version only.

It's like a simplified time trial version with a kind of stripped down Metal Gear VR mode type graphics. Will probably be the bit I keep playing to try and get high scores :)
