Weight saving mod to show off exhausts

No more than any other Mondeo really

I can't remember where or when I read about it, it might have been a thread on Pistonheads, or here, or somewhere else entirely. But once I'd read it, I started noticing that just about all the Mondeos I saw with hanging off rear bumpers were V6s.... Just the same way that once you've decided on a model of car to buy and you're starting the looking process, you suddenly start seeing them everywhere.

Of course, the whole high speed/bumper ripping thing my be absolute piffle... So if the OP could confirm whether he may have driven above 140 (kmh, obviously) on a track or vmax day of some sort, we could find out one way or the other.....

Nah more like a 1.6 Aspen then the comparsion ratios are more equal

My rear bumper hasn't fallen off yet unless you count the time i came off a kerb and the rear wheel dropped down into a drain and smashed the bumper on to the kerb. Mine is a genuine ford bumper toms was a fibreglass copy
