you would need to buy a replacment pcie cable, try asking nzxt nicley if you could, The picture i posted above shows the areas where the cpu and gpu are highlighted, any cobination of cpu/gpu can be plugged in, its a shame a 1200w psu doesnt have any more pcie cables, for the moment your stuck with what you have.

with regard to the 12vhpwr you wont be able to use anything else there its a specific cable designed for nvidia rtx 40 series cards, that can deliver upto 600w on that cable.

you could go the cablemod route but you would need to check your psu is supported, if you only got gpu cables made its not to bad but a full set will get expensive. EDIT just checked cablemod and the 1200w you have isn't supported

i wonder what would happen if you powerlimited the card to -10% and set a manual core clock of around 2500mhz.

I'll try to get the cable, however I did run the card underclocked and undervolted, mem was limited to 2500 which is minimum and it was the same

how far did you dop the core clocks when you underclocked?

Cant say for certain I know I started with 1/3rd less roughly in msi afterburner than what it was set to, then half, i even dropped it later to minimum and went top far with lovering woltage and pc crashed haha

ah not using adrenalin software, unless msi afterburner is fully upto date it will have issues applying, i dont use it as the amd software has gotten a lot better, the tuning tab is the go to, head over and try dropping power limit and gpu core clock, ram will be locked at 2500mhz minimum but everything else should be adjustable

Lookin at ur ram im wondering is ur right most stick fully in at the bottom as kinda looks up a little vs the left one, tho could be just the photo making it look that way.

cablemods don't make it for my PSU, same with 8pin cable, tho I'm checking if the one from the 1000w version would work. Also emailed nzxt about that and perhaps getting a replacement cable, other than that I'll continue testing in games I guess until I have overwhelming evidence so they don't just flat-out refuse to replace it because their test didn't show it.

new amd chipset drivers out i guess u can try em tho doubt it fix it for u if its the cables stuff.

i guess u tried underclocking and lowering the power bar in afterburner to minus 15 i think it is etc to lessen the power usage? also limiting fps limits power so if u run games high fps say 100+ try a cap of 60 or 30 see if artifacts still happen?

I do have the newest chipsest drivers too. I did also try that tonight through some other means, here's what I did:
Did a few tests, overclocked, underclocked, voltage up, voltage down in CP2077, and monitored my temp, here are the pics, the game ran fine, fully maxed settings and the pic was while in "rage" mode which is and adrenaline oc, ~45-50 fps. didn't notice anything out of the ordinary though the game is flashy and maybe if I played it for few hours something might have popped up.

Just an update, recently got my warranty claim fulfilled and got a new card, no issues whatsoever like before! On the one hand, I'm so pleased but on the other it sucks I had to do all this research to be sure (and not even 100%) they'll accept it in the end but oh well
