ive just formated my pc cause it was seriously cluttered
after i reinstalled ive been having a weird problem when i download. the file will save to my pc, then when i try to load it, it will come up with security blocks, if i unblock it and launch it says there is low memory or the cabinet file is corrupt.
ive tried to download differant files and i get the same problem.
info:
running official XP PRO
when i was installing i put the motherboard drivers on first, then graphics, then antivirus, i then did a defragment, then i shutdown, plugged in my second harddrive, done an full virus check on it to make sure it was clean. then i installed my bt internet software, rebooted, defragmented, rebooted then loaded the internet, tried to download msn messenger and got this error
one thing i can think of that might be a possible cause is when i formated, i took my hard drives out, placed them ontop of the pc, installed my floppy drive ive been meaning to fit for a while, then fitted the hd's back, and just plugged in the master hd to save the wrong one getting formated
