Weird reccurring dream.

Mine, especially when I have a fever, is that I am in a maze of pipes and a ball comes up behind and squashes me. I usually wake up in sweats just before the squashing. The other one, which doesn't necessarily happen just when I'm ill is that I'm in front of a door. Suddenly the door goes really far away and I become tiny and I'm afraid I won't be able to reach it.

Weird.

this is from dream moods, don't know if applicable to your situation tho.

"Teeth

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you"

I have some Heavy dreams that completely screw my head up for between 5 - 20 minutes after I wake, I stand/sit there dazed trying to work out if what just happened really happened or was it a dream.
I swear my dreams are BluRay :D

I have a recurring dream, where I try and punch something/somone very hard, but I can't, I keep trying, yet I am unable to land a decent punch.

Just Googled it and it seems that the "interpretation" is something to do with insecurity about how others perceive you.

How seriously you take that guff is up to you.

It certainly was that for me.

I had that sort of dream often when I was a teen, and I was very conscious and worried about how others perceived me. Then I grew up and got confident, and never had those dreams again. :)

I have this dream once every few months (usually the teeth crumble out in the end), for as long as I can remember. I've heard every possible explanation: Money worries, stress, insecure, etc etc (google it you'll find loads)
If I believed all of these I should be cowering behind a couch, a crazy broke mess by now!

I had the dream of teeth falling out, I remember then dreaming I didn't care that much and just stuck the tooth back into it's hole and carried on....was weird thou!

I also had the dream of teeth falling out, but the one where I am plunging from a great height is much more common for me.

I also have some dreams where I am sort of trying to escape, and I'm trying to move but only moving slow mo, or running but going nowhere or something along the same lines.

Wow, I thought it was just me who has these dreams.

The teeth one, I always seem to get it if I forget to brush my teeth and my mouth feels a bit manky before I go to bed.

I also get the slow running/can't punch properly dreams, although I've not had them in a while.

Anyone have one where they're in the house and they know someone is outside and just before the end of the dream, they storm in the house while you're by the door and you wake up?

Me too - they're the worst one's, not because they're particuarly scary, but just so frustrating.

We're scared of not being seen as 'hard', or rather, losing a fight. I think mine stems from when I was about 16 and got sucker punched by some big fat git outside a club - knocked me clean out, but luckily didn't hurt me or have any lasting effect (alcohol helps :p).

I think it's the fact that my mates still take the mick about me getting KO'd from one punch, despite me returning the favour a half dozen times when I'd got to my feet - it's been the bane of my existence ever since :( :p

But god damn, I'm so alpha. I shouldn't be having these dreams.

:p

I love the "interpretations" that some people come up with. In reality it is quite simple:

You're grinding your teeth at night (probably due to stress). Go to the pharmacy or dentist and get yourself a mouth guard.
Yeah, I get the teeth one when stressed out or anxious, and it's usually purely because I've been clenching my teeth during the preceding day/overnight.

So the interpretation /kinda/ works but only because it matches physiologically!

I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I was trying to jump from some rocks into a river below, but as I got closer to the water it became clear I wasn't going to make it and I hit the ground. It then snapped back to me just being next to the river and I'm fine. Weird.
I always have quite vivid dreams in colour (the rocks were a grand canyon orange in this one) anyone else in colour or black and white?

Occasionly have dreams of breaking my teeth just because I've done it before and it hurts something aweful, no teeth falling out though.

I wonder had a dream where I was trying to stop my village being assimilated by the borg, unfortunatly I failed and I went on the run and hidden in ditch, I was unable to escape and I was also assimilated, then the dream ended :(

I like the dreams where I make a decision inside the dream due to somethign from real life, and it's actually me making the decision and am in control, thats pretty unusual.

Thats called Lucid Dreaming. Theres a few of us on here (me) that have trained ourselfs to do it.

Falling dreams are often linked to a situation that you dont feel incontrol of, or losing controll of something/someone.

Teeth falling out is linked to a subconcious worry of personal apperance, and what other people are thinking of you.
