Well can it run Deus Ex MD ?

DX12 is still a learning gab atm we start seeing better performance once game devs work with it more.
Battlefield 1 I was very surprised how well it was running on my system.

These patched games are all work in progress.. 2017 will be an interesting year for games development.

RUBBISH come on DP don't spread junk. Go and watch any gameplay side by side from well known trusted YouTube sources and you see you way off the mark here.

I'm just re-itering what I have seen in several reviews. lso big differences if you look at Episode 2 vs Episode 1, see here for an in-game episode 2 performance comaprison:
http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Hitma...Episode-2-Test-Benchmarks-DirectX-12-1193618/
Going form DX11 to DX12 the 980Ti gains 23% while the FuryX gains 22%. The 980Ti is faster than the FuryX under both DX11 and DX12, but early benchmarks that used the built-in benchmark on Episode 1 showed the FuryX with a large lead whcih is simply not rpesent with the newer in-game reviews.

Really?

That video is comprised of actual gameplay from several different environments within the game and suggests a large AMD advantage across the board.

The 480 comes top by a fair margin if those are average OC's on all 3 cards. Credit to the 970 that even though it definitely came last there were still a couple of brief spots were it managed to render faster than either of the newer cards.

Been reading the other thread with the Doom, doom and more doom:o

Done some runs with todays DX12 release to see how they match up.

To note, although DX12 is slower than DX11, the BM outputs to the screen much better than DX11, it's butter smooth-zero micro stutters compared to a lot on DX11.

What most miss(as evident in the other thread), (much smoother)output to the screen is KING, it far outweighs higher fps, so give DX12 a go if you are running Pascal.:)

What is it doing to the min frame rate though ? That's something we need to see. What I have noticed with DX12 titles is the min frame rate is much higher resulting in much better overall gameplay. Another plus point is frame latency is lower resulting in smoother gameplay, Take Tomb Raider for example
Even at the same FPS under DX12 on my system the game is much more smoother to play vs DX11

They is so much more to it than just MAX or AVG FPS

On the same wavelength bud:)

I found the same. In the Battlefield 1 beta DX12 gave lower max FPS, but upped my minimums by around 12fps; which means at 1440P max settings I never dipped below 60fps.

That's a far better experience to me than getting max fps in the 90s or higher, but dips into the 50s on mins.

I noticed this also. DX11 I would drop below 60fps, but with DX12 its always above 60fps.

Is that a fact?

Seems a GTX1070 will let you run everything 'on' and Very High settings at over 60fps average.

And a GTX970 will get you over 60fps using High settings.

Very High and Ultra settings include some very demanding options.

Also many are reporting that the game runs much better than the benchmark results would suggest.

Woah now. I can't remember if i was using high or very high, but i was NOT averaging anything like 60fps with a 970 and thats with no msaa and no contact hardening shadows.
