Bravo! ****ing BRAVO!

Thank you for upgrading my bank account for no reason without asking!

Thank you for sending me a new card which has been lost in the mail!

Thank you for cancelling my old card without even telling me!

Thank you VERY much.

Thank you because now as I try to buy Insurance for my car as a legal requirement I have no other means of payment and my old insurance company are going to automatically renew at £850 as opposed to the £450 I am trying to purchase this lovely Thursday morning.

Thank you HSBC.

Thank you HSBC.

You only have one account and debit card?

Few things - 1) If they've cancelled your old card and that's what it is using then your auto-renewal won't go through.
2) If you really don't want the auto-renewal to go through just phone them and tell them to not auto-renew
3) Get another bank account/means of payment.

I wasn't aware hsbc were a postal service.

I wasn't aware that they didn't send you a letter first telling you the new card was coming within a week and that your old one will be cancelled about 3 weeks after it arrives.

I wasn't aware that that didn't give you three weeks to speak to them to have them send a card out to you next day.

I wasn't aware you couldn't pay for your insurance via direct debit.

I wasn't aware you couldn't ask your current insurers not to automatically renew.

I wasn't aware I could be as grumpy as you!

I wasn't aware you knew of my postal records and know that I got a letter from HSBC giving me 3 weeks that they sent a card out, quite suspect if you ask me, you seem to know more about the card than I do? do you have it? can I have it back? cheers.

I was however, aware that you cant pay the initial deposit with my new insurer with direct debit, as it has to be a card payment, but you knew that right? you must have, didnt you?.

I was aware that if I asked my current insurer to no auto renew that would leave me completely up pooh creek as i would be driving to and from work without insurance, but that wouldn't bother you now?

and I am now FULLY aware that you CAN be as grumpy as me, otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time to show your displeasure at my situation, maybe we should have a group therapy sessions

Thank you HSBC.

I imagine you've come here first rather than call your bank to ask where your funds have gone?

I know about the process because I've gone through it. They give you plenty of warning about getting your new card and your old one dying. More than enough time to catch them should the post office lose your new card.

all the insurers I've dealt with take my account number and sort code and away they go!

Well lucky for me Tesco dont? cant process initial payment, and as for the multiple letters, I must have a bloody well fed rat somewhere eating them.

Whats stops you ringing the insurance company and cancel the auto renew then taking out a Direct Debit with a cheaper option?
Surely you know the Acc and Sort Code No?
