Finally I have a setup that I am happy with.

I have gone through a lot of different switches and caps and finally I have one I am happy with.

Made a few mods to the GMMK pro board, loads of good mods out there and now it feels and sounds great - going to try and stop buying bits now :)

Can you list your current ‘final’ modlist?

Thanks

I realise how this is going to sound but, is anyone aware of a lubing service? How much it might be per switch and who might do it etc..?

I think there are some. Best thing to do is hit up the MKUK discord server and I am sure someone there will be able to help you out.

Edit: There is a UK vendor that offers the service but you are looking at £5.50 per 10 switches. I just googled "uk switch lubing service" (assuming you are UK based)

Having just finished lubing up two packs of Akko switches I can confirm it's a bit of a ball ache. :) Satisfying when they're all done though.

Not because it's hard, just time consuming. I added a film and lubed up the bits before re-assembling. Took a good few hours to do them all.

Is anyone interested is going in together the next drop do a bogof?

I'd like to get some MT3 caps, though not sure how they'll compare to my current GML ones for typing/gaming. They look hella cool though.

Hoping someone here can help me figure out something since the internet isn't helping much.

I have a Keychron V2 keyboard that just won't go to sleep after a certain amount of time (I have the timeout set to 15 mins (900000 ms), but the LEDs would just stay lit up.

In rules.mk I have this line

IDLE_TIMEOUT_ENABLE = yes

And in config.h I have these two,

#define RGB_DISABLE_WHEN_USB_SUSPENDED
#define RGB_DISABLE_TIMEOUT 900000

I had same settings for my Keychron Q1 that worked previously, but not anymore (when I had it configured, timeout was set to 30 minutes (1800000 ms)), but after changing the timer, it won't sleep, and even after going back to 30 minutes, it just won't timeout anymore.

I've looked all over, I can't find a solution that works, I'm stumped, what am I missing? Aside from these few lines, I don't have much experience in programming for QMK.

I'm sure i could find something to tickle my fancy

Cool. Ive got great feedback from the ol members market so i think as long as we're completely clear from the off we should be fine. I'll start a conversation with you Brizzles and when a sale happens we can take a look and see if there's anything we fancy. I presume you're a member already/have access to site and can see prices?
