Ordered my custom cable last night as well to go with the Mode65, going for a black and gold patina on the Lemo adapter with MDCP-X carbon gold braid plus a 6" coil. It's pricey but damn it looks good! Should be here in about a month, does take that long to make due to demand.

Yes the artisan (Della Key - Noel Wooly) was about £85 inc shipping and a few stickers, but will go perfectly with my noel themed board. It's my first one and hoping to add to it in the future if I can win more raffles.
I am waiting for a themed coiled cable for one of my key sets to be made available after the Group Buy has been completed.
Will be cool to see the cable once it is done for you Mode 65. I'm not usually a fan of the patina look myself but sounds like a nice look you are going for.

Yes. I took full advantage of the sale (I effectively got one set of Alpaca switches (110) for free with what I spent). I made sure I got some more EV-01 Linear and Lavenders switches for future boards as well as some more OWLabs Stabs for when my CruelWorld CW88 which arrives in a few months.

KBD67 Lite R3
JWK Black (lightly lubed and filmed), with modifiers having JWK Black with cream stem and spring
GMK Apollo Clones
Filled the case with Noico so it actually has some weight

Akko Mod 004
Filed down the tray mount posts and replaced the height with silicone for some flex
Cut down the plate so it moves in the case and painted it black
Gateron Box Inks, lubed and filmed
Domikey WOB for alphas, EPBT WOB for rest

I had a double take scrolling through and thought this one was my keyboard! Then I realised I'm actually pretty blind and they aren't overly similar.

Current 'main' keyboard is a KBD67 as well, but not a Lite. It's the KBD67v2 MKII from the GB in May 2020.

GMK Modo 2 for the keycaps, Zeal v2 stabs and then I've just swapped from NK creams to Gateron Black Ink v2s for the switches which I'm really enjoying!

I might have ended up buying a keyboard or two, or three, in the past couple of months, falling into this world is an expensive hobby haha.

I decided to mix switches on my GMMK TKL, it came with gateron browns, I swapped the switches for alphanumberic and symbol keys with gateron greens, I like it much better now, I think greens are my favorite, I love the feel and how stiff they are, I had a bag of green switches leftover from my other keyboard build so figured I'd use them.
 
My Frog arrived, now waiting on the switches to arrive sometime next week then i can build, its a beautiful looking KB and very weighty.
Trying to source either GMK Taro or Rouge for it. Sadly might end up going clone route as most sets are $250+

Also ordered the Blade65 case in grey with the brass weight for my kbd67 Lite, fancied a change over. Will hopefully be matching this with the DCS Blue Moon GB :).

Ohhhh did you go for the R2 or the original Blade case? I'm tempted to upgrade my KBD67Lite case at some point to aluminium too but the Keychron Q2 or Q1 is coming in at the same price for a whole new Keeb so now I'm a bit stuck lol.

The Mecha 01 set really pops under UV light.

These were taken by a shutterbug at work for me. Really impressed on how well these turned out.
Currently waiting on the Odin to have equally as well done photo's done and will be sharing those as well once I have them.
 
So I just went ahead and ordered a bag of Kailh Box Heavy Dark Yellow switches, I wanted linear switches that's stiffer than black switches, and these switches seemed like the best option I can get easily, now to decide what keyboard and keycap set to get, currently looking at GMMK Pro or Keychron Q1 with knob if it comes back in stock (or another QMK compatible keyboard with similar layout as these) and AKKO Midnight keycaps.

I've only ever used tactile and clicky switches, so linear switches are new to me, kind of, last time I used them was like 10 years ago and only briefly.

It's the R2 :D, not fulfilled yet but should be soon then hopefully a short wait till it arrives. Will be good to make a comparison between the sound difference of the 2 materials. Will post back when i've done it :p

Going to use an FR4 as I like them on other boards, but I might order a PC. I will see how it sounds first.
Went with EV-01 switches and will use Mitolet until I can find a reasonbly priced GMK Rouge or Taro.
 
Switched L & F, dont like the caps with the board, but have GMK Lazer turning up soon, if not I'm tempted but just plain old Black on White. The case is a very dark Purple, much nicer in person that photos show it to be.
Very nice to use has a nice sound as well, pleased with the recommendation of the EV-01 switches, might take the plate foam out and see how it sounds without it.

That is very nice. Glad you liked the EV-01 switches they are some of my favorites which is why i got another 110 for another board in the future. Hoping when the EV-00 switches come out I can grab those as well. Maybe they will go in the Phoenix if I can get one and have a nice red themed board.
