Well I fell down the custom keyboard world.

I switched from the browns to blush on my Air75 v3 pre-order. Hopefully I don't regret it, having always used tactical switches. What sold me is how quiet they sound.
I do want the Nuphy air.

Maybe if I end up going to the US next year.

I have the Halo 65 at the moment and it’s been an amazing keyboard.

Part of me worries that after the initial pre-order for ISO they might become really hard to buy or discontinued.

I’ve put an order in for the Iqunix Magi65. Broke one my rules and gone for ANSI, but it is hard to find decent boards in ISO. Cancelled my Air v3. Seen some reports on Reddit along with customer service horror stories that turned me off. Also the Magi65 looks better all round.

I have this, it feels and sounds amazing.

p.s. I sent an email to Nuphy to cancel my Air3, how long did it take for them to get back to you/get a refund?

Been seriously considering a ZSA Voyager, anyone used one before?

Considered other splits, like Corne, but reluctant to get too deep into the assemble/build it yourself as that's a sinkhole I want to avoid bleeding money on, as I know what will happen.

Air3 cancelled.

Now, do I order the NocFree Split? Part of me says I shouldn't because I have a Nuphy 65 and Magi68 at work but then it makes sense to because if I have the QK Alice Duo at home then having another split at work (NocFree) would make sense, rather than trying to type on different style of keyboards to make getting used to split faster.

Hey guys, this seems like the best place to ask. I need a new keyboard, Its mainly for gaming with a bit of browsing. It has to be wireless as i game in the living room with the K&M on the sofa about 2.5M away. I dont know much about keyboards, switches etc.
So full size, best gaming switches, quiet if possible and good wireless.
Cheers

I have a mouse with 10 extra buttons which are set to the number pad keys, it makes it easier setting key bindings as most games don't recognise the extra mouse buttons and the number keys are never used for main controls.

Fancied a change of switch, love the TTC Venus I've got currently, picked some Everglide Aqua king v3 up, should hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Finally got it!

Think I'll stick with the Mac modifiers as I spend most of my time in macOS for work anyway. Works fine on my Windows desktop CMD = Win key.

My Air 75 v3 was delivered yesterday.

I managed to get it unboxed today, and changed over some of the key caps to UK layout. Also got it connected up to Nuphy IO.

I haven't put the dial on yet, or really had much chance to use it properly but I did some basic typing on it today and it's really nice to type on, with satisfying action. I have the blush switches and they are pretty quiet. I would say they are perfectly quiet enough for my needs at home or in a quiet office.

Lighting is lovely and the overall build quality seems great too.

Nuphy IO is very similar to VIA and if you use VIA you won't have any trouble navigating IO.

Overall very happy with it so far. It's tiny compared to my Q6 - but that was the whole point of buying it. A super natty keyboard to use out and about and for trips to the office.
