Had a load of AMD cards over the years. We have a few here now, I do like AMD stuff but all my best experiences on PC have been with Nvidia cards.. 8800GTX, GTX480, GTX 780, 780Ti. There is just a quality / performance with Nvidia cards that is sometimes worth the extra imho.

You never though AMD could make better cards on 20nm and might tempt me back to the red side again. Nvidia is looking pretty strong right now though, looking forward to the new drivers tomorrow. Performance gap could get even bigger..

I use to like amd too, but agree NVidia is some much better it's not funny. AMD blew it with me. They would have to really do something really special to make me look at them again. I doubt that will ever happen. AMD just isn't that good anymore.

After 320.18 Nvidia drivers fried my last Nvidia card im never going back, AMD all the way.

Just goes to show the top quality that nvidia provide is utter horse lol. I get that people prefer to use Nvidia and some AMD but this quality difference is rubbish and i have used some really good Nvidia cards over the years ie 8800gtx. Having used AMD more i like them better because i am used to there setup more and i reckon had it been the other way around i would prefer to use Nvidia. The only reason i have used AMD more is purely price and nothing to do with quality.

Great how someone can tell me whether my cards workin or not and can determine whether I want a card or not without actually knowing me.

Also as I said to u in earlier posts in a seperate thread I can't find a 780/ti for well under 300 notes or I woulf have bought one despite your numerous attempts at telling me and others that 2nd hand 780s can be bought thru the MM for 200-230.

Learn to read, I was referring to the post above that post saying that postage would be paid both ways.

I was referring to the DSA law in that IF you return as unwanted to save RMA BS you may not get postage back.

I am done trying to help you, you are a fool once again.

The 780Ti was sold new for same price you paid for those 770 2GB's the very same week on TWO, nothing to do with MM fool and do not lie about the prices I claimed on there as I have no access to it.

You have 2 threads now crying like a baby over your bad choices.

You have a habit of biting of the hands trying to help you so : This message is hidden because robertchalmers1 is on your ignore list.

...and yet you bought an AMD card? I am an advanced user and love messing about with stuff but even I stick to NVidia to save myself a lot of headaches.

About 12-13yrs of toing and froing has taught me to stay clear if I just want to plug and play... throughout that time the AMD fanboys past and present have told me that AMD are as trouble-free as NVidia but whenever I gave them them the benefit of the doubt it turned out not to be the case.

NVidia do more than just winning benchmarks and best value charts but you won't hear it from AMD's evangelical fanboys, who seem to love the company more than they do gaming.

I see only one fanboy here

Why would I lie about prices??? I stated that I paid bottom price for them same as I got mu psu brand new for 40 bucks. If you can show me where I can buy a brabd new 780 for 260 bucks with a waterblock I will gladly buy it

Anyway back on topic, I really don't think its the card that's at fault. Friend took round a couple of older cards he had lying spare so far an nvidia 8800gts 512mb, hd 6670 and 6850 all produce the. Exact same errors that I have been getting last couple of days. Looks like whatever I have done or installed after reformat is what is wrong. Guess I needa re format and re install, install one prog and driver at a time and take it from there

you could do with outlining all the errors in one thread, its quite hard to follow what your actual problem is at the moment. It needs to be all together as the issues are most likely connected (they are all coming from the same pc).

Have you done any basic diagnostics such as running memtest?

Wow! this, after starting a thread slating AMD ? Threads like this should be locked and people like you should buy a console

Where was I slating amd in the thread as I certainly don't recall slating them, yes plenty others have but certainly not me. And why exactly should I buy a console, is it because I don't have the technical know how that you may possess???? Its that sort of elitest attitude that gives pc gamers a bad name
