Ok first question is about my raptor 150gb, ive noticed were every thing plugs in there is nothing on any of the jumpers, is this normal ?
Second question is that i have a 320 gb wd raid edition hdd that i use as storage and it only shows as 298 in windows, is there a way of getting at the missing 22 gigs ?
Afriend of mine knows a wd tech and he said theyd fix it and they do it with a program on a floppy disk?

no jumpers on the wd raptors they are sata 150, sata 300 often have jumpers as so you change em to 150 if needed. also becuase they are sata you dont need master slave jumpers like on ide drives.

also you wont be able to get the missing sapce back this is normall and something that hdd manufacturers should stop lying about size wise. the lost space is partly due to formatting the bigger the hard drive the more space you lose.
