US: Westworld

I'm not really being pulled into this season - it increasingly feels like last - a stylish front end, which initially has promise, on something which is ultimately very shallow. Westworld as a premise really has some potential for deep tangled storylines so this feels cheap.

The first season was pretty decent with some subtle hints of mystery in the larger world building which seems to have been thrown out when it moved into the bigger world.

EDIT: Though the little nods to the first season in episode 3 did make me smile.

It wasn't a good ep though really it's just relying on nostalgia

Is it me or did episode 4 have some audio issues? the levels seem off/quiet with a lot of stuff sounding slightly muffled then some individual sound elements fine like they'd done a poor job of making some changes post-production.

Yeah i know what you mean but starting to think it was intentional because of the way some of the time lines were revealed because some were memories (worded to not be a spoiler) ,but its made things a lot clearer now why the previous episodes felt like they were trundling :o

Feel a bit stupid not realising it was multiple timelines until this episode.

I only had an idea because they've done it before - there isn't much that clues you in unless you overly analyse it, though one person being the adult/child in the different timelines was fairly obvious (but I hadn't really worked out the implications of that before it was revealed).
