Wet pc's and insurance companies..

Just thought i would do an update on this:


Pc was to arrive today but has been delayed till tommorow ( i will post tommorow and let you all know if it happens.) :rolleyes:

But on another note, i got a letter today from my house insurance company ( Bradford and Bingley via Zurich) saying that my home insurance ends this month and they can no longer insure me as the cannot find a competative quote!!

Now this isnt conincedence that the 1st and only time ive claimed on the house insurance this is to happen, and i paid extra for specific pc cover.

Not good..... :mad:

The old case was written off and no parts were usuable according to the insurance company.... :rolleyes:


Anyways todays phone call..

" We have found a case for you if its ok, a coolermaster stacker 830. "


Thats the newer version of the case i already had that i was told i couldnt have as it was too expensive. :confused:


Anyway should be getting a call back today to confirm this and a delivery date...... :o



And the story goes on..... :(

Yes boring it is.... im limited to playing C&C on this old dual server for now.... :eek:

PC Arrived yesterday!!

Heres the run down...

The Lian Li pc case they said i couldnt have as non are coming out of japan so i will have to have a stacker.... Opens the box and its a black Lian Li!!

On the cpu front, i aksed about duo core 3.0 as i couldnt find it lised...and i was right.. its 3.4ghz

I told them no-need for windows xp but got it anyway...

And a free keyboard and mouse!!


Al the rest iof the spec was as the list.. ds3 mobo ocz ram 1950 gfx raptor hd etc etc

Not bad... the wait was horriffic though... :rolleyes:

And today... is my birthday, nice on time prezzie :D
