What 5 bits of software can't you live without...?

NOTE: Standard Install includes:

Office (take your pick which version - but it can include any office program, so no need to add).
Firefox &/or Google Chrome
AV & AdAware
Photoshop

So no need to include any of these...
 
Picking 5 would be impossible, there's just too many essential things, like WMP, Windows itself, open office, Chrome, FF, IE, etc...

Apart from those though I'd say PS CS3, LR 2, Messenger, and I guess some games.

Windows/Office/Chrome/Firefox/IE and Photoshop CS4 are all included as standard. See the 1st post.

It's really about what else you'd choose.

supose that it... theres loads more I install every time I re-build!... but those are the first after the essentials!... :)

Sorry that's really 6 but they are pretty much the first things that get put back on my PC when I do a re-install of Windows after drivers/updates and security programs.

5) utorrent (cos torrents are retro :D)

7) Steam
8) InfraRecorder

When I get Vista I'll probably seek out some new software, but atm:

CCleaner
Firefox
iTunes
uTorrent
VLC
Windows Live Messenger
