What a difference drivers make!

Hey guys,

Reinstalled today and I decided to log the difference between windows 7's raid driver (which seems stable enough) and the intel drivers.

This test was on an ICH10R using 2x Samsung F3's in Raid0. I didn't expect such an increase in read/write performance for smaller sizes.

obviously not that big of a difference

Erm, if you check the figures more closely the second graph has almost moved up a whole step in terms of speed, the 3 smaller read/writes are close to 3x faster

Any improvement is a good one

every time I use the Intel drivers my pc freezes every few minutes with 2 velociraptors raid0 so have stuck with windows 7 drivers(ICH10R).
