Ouch, 10k for a Fiesta ST... I hope it's worth it mate, but I have a feeling before long you'll be craving a bit more power, and when you've spent 10k on a car the last thing you want to do is start spending more money on making it quick, especially since as you already overshot yourself to buy it.

no one read my replys? lol i was looking at 05 ST's when i got "roped in" to this... but i feel better off being a newer car, under 10k mileage and 2 years warrenty left.
i was going to pay 4k for 05 ST + my car.
Instead i paid 6.5k for 07 ST + my car
i dont think the 2.5k for a newer better car is bad (had all extras inside, unlike other one which was basics)
i would NEVER pay 14k for one like my mate did however.

We read your replies, but that doesn't necessarily mean we agree with their logic.

at least i aint the first owner... its lost 4k in its first 10months!?!?! lol
i suppose i gona loose 1-2k within a year too, but you only live once, and this is the closest i gona get to a new car ever really.
the sad thing is im already looking to find mk6 head lights for it!

Been a long time since i posted in this thread - finally picked up a year old ST with only 10k miles on it. Really is a fun wee car to drive!
Can any ST owners recommend some decent mudflaps for it? Living in the country it is impossible to keep it clean and don't want it all stone chipped. The front wheels do sit out a bit where the arch angles in so think flaps are a must. Any recommendations?
Thanks! I fancied one for a long time and i missed out on a few good deals before finally getting a blue one. Last car was a 1.25 Zetec so this baby can really shift on. 2000cc in a fiesta is some fun!

Checked out the ones on that site but the black ones don't have st logo and the coloured ones look absolutely terrible! Think the torquesteer ones look much better to be honest. 80quid for mudflaps is expensive though!
One of my friends bought his new with "Electrics Pack" (folding mirrors etc) for £10,700 last year. They were selling them for a bit less than that at one point. Im not sure the £6.5K + your old car was such a great deal, but if you are happy with the car that is of course the main thing

Yeah i don't mind cleaning it but its just in the country it is impossible to keep it half clean as even after one journey it is totally filthy and don't want it all stone chipped. a lot of gravel in places on our country roads so its not good for the paintwork.
