They haven't said they are doing it for the SGS. But I'm sure the XDA community will find a way to get it on the device

2.3 is rolling out now in Europe,so hopefully be on Gingerbread in the next few weeks.

I now join the masses with a Gingerbread 2.3.7 CyanogenMOD 7.2 ROM created by Tom3q over on Samdroid.net

He's custom written new partition tables and drivers for my poor little Spica and he's ported this ROM around that

It's smooth, slick and generally better than FroYo lol
