Not very much at all...

One of my colleagues is on his last day of Jury service today, the other is off to replace his bathroom suite.

The phone has yet to ring, no emails have come in yet, and I can't really update any of my own programs/websites because my back is to the rest of the office :(

*hopes hasn't jinxed things by saying the above*
 
Investigating whether some of the command line tools we use at work will run under Linux. Exciting Friday activity.
 
Sat in the office, making sure everything is working I.T wise. It is, so I sit on OcUK until a peon has some stupid question for me.

Saving the work I do have (Exchange Migrations) until later when I get REALLY bored and there is no new content to read :D

The most productive thing I have done so far is make a cup of Tea for the I.T department, which today, has no managers so we aren't achieving great amounts. The other two are developers anyway, so they achieve nothing most of the time :D

Frantically finishing off a project as it is my last day in this placement today.............. By reading Ocuk :D

Off to canary wharf on Monday when the real work begins :)
 
recovering from a network crash this morning. PDC lost some services and booted every bugger out. I'm the only IT person in the company.
Also gotta sum up thecourage to speak to Sage about problems with ACT!......again! :(
 
I'm typing up the comments for my annual review on Tuesday. Trying not to sound tooooo big headed, but basically what I have written so far is :

"DAMN, I'M GOOD!"

Can't say I've ever tried, so I'd be useless.

Where do you work out of curiosities sake?
 
Doing prep work for a change in a few weeks to make sure it'll (hopefully) go smoothly, answering questions from Service Managers and unfortunately I have a voice conference later.

Did spend quite a bit of time have a discussion with several of my colleagues, (including my boss), around the country on whether one of them should be paid for timesheets in cookies, differences between biscuits and cakes in respect to jaffa cakes and whether I could have the rest of the guys salary if he was just being paid two cookies a week .... :)
