lol, ep 1 was like £12, so £25 is not "about" what you'd normo pay anyway. tf2 shouldn't cost much and portal sounds like its a basic puzzle tech demo more than anything. lost coast was almost utterly pointless, gave you a quick look at hdr, not replayable or really a game. portal is just slightly longer. i got bored enough with Prey and its, oo look, you're upside down.........bored.
not played tf2 yet, not sure if i can, got a black box code around here somewhere so need to dig that out.
£25 isn't too bad if in fact you don't have ep 1, everyone else getting the orange box and repaying for ep 1 is being completely and utterly ripped off. its a complete joke. ep 1 £12, ep 2 should be £12, but they've made it £12 + £12 for ep 1, with little option to buy it on its own while also getting tf2 and portal for free as they should be.
its like releasing halo 1 for £30, then halo 2 for £60 with halo 1 free with it. which is fine for the 10% of people who would buy the 2nd and not the 1st, but a rip off for the 90% of people who'd already bought the first. its called screwing over your established customers, for new customers. same way we all hate phone/broadband/tv providers ripping off current customers with deals almost all for new customers only.
