I will eat just about any meat, it is sauces that annoy me. Some sauces I couldn't go near without vomiting. For example rhubarb sauce I couldn't touch if you paid me.
I draw the line at Andouillette and Casu marzu - everything else - bring it on but it'd have to be raised/killed humanely - couldn't eat Halal meet or things like Foie gras etc.
If there was a way of farming dogs/cats humanely then I'd eat that no probs. I've had horse on numeorous occasions and I like it.
Nothing that immediately springs to mind. I wouldn't ever want to eat an endangered animal. Blood would probably be the worst thing for me - as in, just a cup of it; I have no issue, and quite enjoy, black pudding, haggis and the like.
I hate the taste of kidney, liver and tongue. Go figure; I used to love those as a child...
I want to kill my own pheasant and pluck it, but I'm not sure I could draw it... supposed to be a case of hand in plastic bag and just pull... but hmmmm... I'm not convinced.
Similarly I don't think i could gut my own fish....
The act of having to do those things would put me off eating them - if someone else's done it, then fine.
I don't do mushrooms and fungi. Jank. I never liked them anyway, but seeing mushrooms grow out of the bottom of a toilet sealed the deal
Oh, and a lot of seafood, ate about 5 whole king prawns when I was 15, with all the armour, legs, head, arse etc still attached as I'd never had them. Not pleasant
When mum made us that chicken thing the other day you were all "eeeew meat bone" and I was all "Stop being fussy" but then realised I don't like meat on the bone either.
Although I think it's just chicken I can't handle, because around the bone it gets all black and yukky looking. Ribs are good.
Jellied eels, tried them once and nearly threw up. Also rice pudding I have hated since a kid and the mere smell of it makes me feel ill. Strangely I can make and eat risotto without issue (probably because it's savoury), but rice pudding.... Bluuuuurgh!
Pretty much nothing bar live bugs, baked tarantula etc. I'm always up for trying different foods nd I'll usually having something new when eating out if given the chance.
IMO if you eat meat then you don't have any right to be squeamish about what you eat. Got no issue with people who have tried stuff and plain don't like the taste/texture, but if your idea of meat comes in clingfilm from a supermarket then you probably don't really deserve to have meat on your plate.
