What are you watching on Netflix ?

I thought my backlog of games was getting out of control (it is). I'm now starting to accrue a backlog of 'box sets'. Anyway the commute does have it's benefits as I can start to catch up. :)

Narcos - Season 1 - If you enjoyed Al Pacino's Scarface, Narcos is of the same vein, seriously good.

Had "The Good Place" recommended to me recently. Promptly finished both seasons on Netflix in less than a week!

I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that if you enjoy such things as Brooklyn Nine-Nine or Parks and Rec, this could be worth a go. Episodes are short, and easy to watch.

Last year they rented a small boat off my father to do some shoots in, unbelievable amount of film crew for such a small ish program.

And i thought it was supposed to be a fairly real shot program (apart from the stories) but its all just made up tv nonsence.

It's like the Top Gear Specials (Clarkson & Co), they make it look like there's the three of them and maybe a couple of cameras, when in reality they'll have a whole army of support staff and support vehicles.

Ghost Bores erm Wars. Acting is terrible and I'm struggling to hold on post Episode 4.

Just finished Mindhunter, really enjoyed that. Next up will be Unabomber.

Also worth checking out is Somebody Feed Phil - it's brilliant!

Currently watching the following: -

Manhunt: Unabomber
Bates Motel

Then dipping in and out of Weeds from time to time.

Recently finished Fargo Season 3, which yet again was excellent!

Only just signed up to Netflix anyone care to list a few must watchs? I've seen breaking bad and making my way through Narcos which is excellent.

Thanks for any suggestions

Just so many IMO.

Here's some of what I've watched over time in no particular order: -

Stranger Things
Peaky Blinders
Daredevil
Gotham
Fargo
Better Call Saul
The Frozen Dead (French)
Marcella
13 Reasons Why
Godless
Manhunt: Unabomber
Bates Motel

Out of that lot, some are very, very good and others are half decent.

Was late to Peaky Blinders and only watched it this year to see what the fuss was about. Same with Marcella, never saw it first time it was aired.

It really depends what you're in to.

I know the acting is pants in places (quite like meatloaf though and the lead guy/kid) but quite enjoying the story.
Oh man, that IS Meatloaf! I was wondering why he looked so familiar but couldn't recognise him. Cheers. I'll give eps 4 another watch tomorrow as I was fast losing interest.

The Haunting of Hill House

I wondered how a ghost story could continue over several episodes!

If you like spooky stories, its a recommended watch; every spook going in a single story!

It has some genuinely clever scenes which get the ol' hairs on the back of the neck tingling, just like any decent ghost story should.

Me and the missus have just started watching the Messiah on Netflix.

Got about 2 more episodes to go but so far we are finding it pretty enthralling to watch. How a so called guy somehow becomes a leader for the poor lost souls that he comes across.

Like I said I’m finding it pretty good in all honesty.
