What are your 2 favourite films?

I had a look, but I didn't see any such thread already.

I am looking out for some good films to watch, especially with the winter nights coming.

The older the better I say, modern stuff not so much my bag.

Hoping this gives some ideas, I like most kinds - but not horror and am a pretty simple guy, nothing too complex is my idea of a good film

My top 2, no order as I like them both the same.

Local Hero
Magnum Force

Local Hero as it reminds me so much of where I am from and how the life there was and to very much a large degree still exists in some parts of Scotland.

Magnum Force, just because - well maybe I like the idea of Karma

You could ask me tomorrow and the answer might be different, but two of the several I always come back to are 'Brazil' and the original 'The Producers'. I never, ever get sick of seeing them and find something new to love every time.

The Bourne Identity - I love everything about this film. I think Matt Damon was perfect for the role. Second one was pretty good too. Third was alright. Less said about the others...

The Matrix - Still utterly captivates me today.

Also saw it at the Royal Albert Hall with live Orchestra doing the score, amazing

2nd movie, hmmm, so many good ones depending on mood, Matrix, Meet Joe Black, Green Mile, new Maverick is good, Days of Thunder etc.
