What are your hobbies apart from tech?

I try to play football in the way that I did when I was younger and better so that means that I'm now a central defender and I watch the bright young things sprint like gazelles, their moves almost predictable due to muscle memory and my far-distant viewpoint, and every ball I kick is tinged with a bitterness almost too painful to describe, the 'thud' of the leather against leather the audible note of contempt everyone feels for my participation. Later, after we've lost and everyone is trying to avoid eye contact with me because it was my fault, I weakly stammer "well, uh, well played guys". No one says anything. I do this every week as a hobby.

I also enjoy music! ★NSYNC are pretty rad. You might find them a bit too challenging - intellectually as well as sonically, even politically - so ease yourself in if you're looking for a musical journey that will last you a lifetime.

Lol

Pathfinder RPG, photography, bass guitar, Stronglifts, cycling/walking and I've recently started to study Geology (an academic antidote to IT support). Obviously not all at once.

Motocross & Enduro, electric guitar as well although it has slackened off due to work. Luckily guitar is like riding a bike. You never forget it. Got an ENGL Fireball 100 sat here which hasn't been used in a month and I feel bad!

I truly miss it.

Shooting, mix of game and rough shooting with shotguns. Bit of target shooting with rifles. Used to be heavily into competition clay pigeon shooting, (DTL trap discipline) but jacked it in as it was very expensive.

1st hobby is fixing my bike, 2nd is cycling, 3rd is walking (living too dangerously as a cyclist and not carrying backup rim tape, 10 mile walk home arrgghh) 4th photography and taking snaps of IOW :) 5th umm oh yeah video games lol, playing on PC currently Path of Exile and on the 360 PURE just really enjoying PURE. 6th is mind your own biz, 7th is lots of stuff i can't remember...swap around 4th and 5th :p

Medieval weaponry.

I also like to stand outside of old folks homes at night, dressed in my black hooded Star Wars dressing gown, skeleton facemask and holding this.

You'd fit in with my brother - he has a collection of 1:1 replicas of the weapons in LOTR and scared the **** out of the neighbours once in a hooded dressing gown (while making bad jokes about a monk's habit).

While its kind of tech I've taken up electronics again as a very much hobbiest thing - dabbling with headphone amps, usb dacs, a few solar projects, etc.
