Well spotted! It's a little battered actually: the picture's just poor and the sun caught it.
A huge amount. I'm slightly obsessed by it. It's a great investment, for one, but I've always loved history and it is slightly amazing to have items from the eras I've studied. Reading about the hand-to-hand clashes of the Sikh Wars with an 18th century tulwar and an 1822 British infantry sabre in front of you is the greatest of illustrations! Also, I think it's important to remember that the pieces related to the world wars have direct links to very sad times indeed and collecting is a way to better understand and appreciate what people like you and I were forced to go through, as well as keeping those memories alive. There's nothing like handling a heavy-ass Bren Gun to make you respect how it isn't like in the movies!

What do you get out of it mate ?![]()
