What can I do with...

All I've got is 2 types of mayonase salad dressing and a tin of tomatoes :(

Oh and 5 bazillon dominos vouchers :p

guess what we're having for tea :D

Ok, here goes...

Grill the salmon fillets with a mixture of the spices on the top, to add extra flavours etc.

Fry off the onion (sliced and diced) in a small amount of oil so that it caramelises a bit, chuck in the chillies (finely chopped) to fry them off a little too, along with the garlic (crushed). After a little while throw in the tomato purée and the yoghurt, along with some other liquid stuff (wine works well). Simmer this concoction and add the cherry tomatoes, chopped.

As for the potatoes boil them, chopped to just larger than mouth sized pieces. Same with the carrot.

Serve the salmon with the sauce next to it, and the potatoes and carrots next to it all, and sprinkle some chives on top.

I have no idea if you are capable of that, or indeed if it will work...but it's along the lines of what I'd try. Basically throwing lots together methodically to produce something that should be good. :)

Be my husband?

:o

With the salmon have you got any philadelphia? On that philly advert the lady spread philly on top with bread crumbs and cooked it. Maybe try that?
then:
1) Cut the potatoes into small chunks.
2) Cut the onions and fry them with the garlic, take them off before the start to brown.
3) Throw the onions and finely chopped potato chunks in the oven for 30 minutes.

My mum does the potatoes with onion and garlic, tastes great. A simple salad would complete that, you must have lettuce, tomatoes etc? Add a small amount of onion in as well.

Good post that Invg,

I'd be doing something much simpler though, saves you mucking about with the random ingredients you have.

Cook the salmon and cook some rice up, pour boiling water over the rice to seal it (with a pan underneath, and just leave it to steam over the boiling water.

Think about possibly adding a spice or two ontop of the salmon before cooking, or cut some red onion, lay it ontop of the salmon (if you're an onion fan). I do this with lemon bits and it tastes lovely.

Boil the potatoes and carrots, cut the tomatos. Serve the rice in a little dish with a bit of butter on top.

Nice dish of Salmon, Rice and some veggies. Quite easy going on a Sunday night.
