1.4 Peugeot 206 for my normal driving, and then a 1.9 diesel c4 for my pass plus, well I think that was the engine sizes, wasnt too bothered just wanted to pass my test but both were pretty gutless thinking back

My instructor had an Astra 1.6 Euro 96 Special Edition. It did the job.

I actually passed my test in my own 1.1 Saxo.

My instructor was loving it, he done no advertising what so ever but always got the calls as he drove around.

For me, it was a dissapointment going to a 10 year old 1.4 astra after passing, as my first car though.

Blue, with red tartan seats, rust and a clutch cable that stuck slightly. Was my mums, learnt to drive in it with my dad over nearly 6 months on Sundays only and took my test in it Then spent nearly 2 years driving it round as a student!
