What car did you learn to drive in?

Had some lessons in an horrible old Ford Ka, then changed to another guy who had a Vauxhall Meriva.

My first actual driving lesson was in a diesel Renault Clio which broke down after about 30 minutes. Found someone else after that.
 
2004 Renault Clio 1.5 DCi, my first car was a 1989 Renault 5 no power steering in that so after passing it was very different stepping into my car vs the clio.
 
My instructor had a 1.5 Turbo Hyundai Scoupe and I occasionally practiced in my parents 1.3 Mk2 Astra Estate.
 
Off the top my head (almost 30 years ago mind :p)

1st lessons & test (Failed) Metro or Nova I think.

Changed instructors (ex-copper & former colleague of dad) Mk3 Escort.

When out learning with dad, 60's mini. (Hated it)

Passed test at the 2nd attempt, six months later in my own car, Chrysler Sunbeam.
 
I didn't have a car I learned to drive in really, went out a couple of times in my dad's vauxhall victor estate, then took my test and passed first time...
