if I leave it long enough it will be a low mileage classic and I'll get all my money back or swap it for a veyron, true story..... :p

Jebus, is it around £20k for a new engine and fitting? Is there no other cheaper way you can get it back on the road? Recon engine fitted by a specialist?

briefly OT, if I use OPC they will give me half the money for the new block, costing around 12k all in, if I go third party it's variable rates (5-9k) but the car will never get an OPC warranty again as a result.

either way I have 0k so it's all vaporware discussions anyway :D
