It makes me sad really, that there are so many great SUV's and trucks you can buy in the USA, not just American ones but Japanese aswell that you can't get here, well not unless you import one anyway. Most are available with 'real' engines too, none of this 2.2 or 2.5 diesel rubish but real big V8s and even V10s.

Toyota Tundra

wont see one of them over here ...

why would you?
nobody wants a massive, plasticky pick-up with a stupidly large engine with LHD over here

Why though ...they are great, like tonka toys only they actually work!

If I could get what I wanted, I probably would tbh, but I don't know if I would have one instead if the Jag, certainly aswell as though.

Ariel Atom.

I don't need boot space, it has an engine I know well and it'll still be drivable in snow I bet. Might change the tyres for something more suitable if it comes with R888 or similar, but I would try them first. If I really did have the money, I'm not even half joking either.

If the Atom is a total failure, something like this would do:

Pic stolen from an MX5 Nutz member. Lot of people drive Defenders round here and I think they're awesome.

Might be a bit nippy though :p

which would be better though

the defender or something like the discovery with all the fancy hill descent control electronics etc..

On a viable budget my step dad tells me a Panda 4x4 was awesome in the snow and the internet seems to agree, apart from the ground clearence.
