What Chinese dishes to get tonight?

We call it a chinky round these parts too. Its not meant to be racist or offensive. Mind you, I wouldnt actually call it that if I was IN a chinese takeaway or speaking to a Chinese person. Just in case they took it the wrong way.

To answer the OP, how about a sweet n sour Hong Kong style, with fried rice? :)

It's called Chinky here too, as in a chip shop is called a Chippy, just slang, not racist.

Anyway, Duck should always be on the menu, as it tastes delicious.

That pretty much sums it up though doesnt it? If you wouldnt say it to them then its quite obviously Racist :P

People round my part of the woods call it the same thing, but we all also accept it is a racist term.

Sweet and sour chicken is always a good choice though :P

Little derailed thread. I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseum on here already.

Anyway, OT. Smoked BBQ chicken, crispy chili beef, hong style sweet/sour chicken, obligatory pork balls, noodles/black bean sauce.

Personally, I'd avoid anything in oyster sauce.

I recommend crispy duck with plum sauce. One of the finest things to come from China bar the iPhone.

I fancy something different tonight though. I might go down to the English ***** for a steak and kidney pie.

I want chinese now :( But noooo, to have a sandwich I am!

Chow Mein is always good too, if you want something easy
