I don't think that is true, since it would have taken some time before the first star went.

Obviously, it would take a few billion years for the first star formed to die.

Following on that, and its something I learned years ago not today, is if you wrote all the zeros from 10^googol on a piece of paper it wouldn't fit into the known universe (we'll overlook there not being enough atoms for the paper and ink).

A googol is the large number 10100; that is, the digit 1 followed by 100 zeroes:
10,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000,*000

That's the 100 zeros, it fitted.
