What DAC?

I did it all at once so I am not sure, but the difference is quite pronounced.

Opamp changing can make a big difference, I found the AD8620 bright, the OPA627 dark/thick and the LT1364 about right. I tired others aswell but nothing was as good as those three. It is more about system synergy than what is best I feel.

Well im going to do it all at once, as it is soo much easier if everything is out and setup.

Im after good system synergy, and don't want a bright and harsh system, so i feel as though the lt1364 is right for me. I'm going to order the parts and soldering stuff this week, so will hopefully have a go at it all next week or next weekend.

Ahhh ok
Skipping with CD-Rs or normal CD's?

normal cd's, not tried a cd-r yet, like i said its been put away for 3 yrs so gonna let it warm up abit, i'll post back in the morning as im flitting from house to house atm
