Indeed, though I half respect her for not trying to dodge it .... which would have been kinda hard I guess when you're a political chat show regular.
But I suspect most politicians would have hemm'd and haww'd and done their level best to dodge the issue or to come up with some whinging self-justification. At least she had the guts to say "You got me. It's a fair cop."
Her credibility in terms of political principle has vanished, but I'm more inclined to listen to what she says, even if I disagree with a large part of it. She has more crediblity, at least with me, than most politicians who won't even answer "What's your name?" without trying to evade the question. One of the things I detest about most politicians is that they won't call it as it is, even if it's uncomfortable. I end up not trusting a single word they say. In other words, politicians of any flavour don't have much credibility (in my eyes) in the first place, so it's kinda hard to lose it!
