What do you call your boxes?

Winalot (nvidia haf-x), Doberman (black cmstacker), K9 (shuttle xpc), Hotdog (netbook), Bigbadwolf (tablet)

All devices that go onto the same network follow the same theming for me.
 
AdamsLaptop, AdamsPC, AdamsHTPC, and Rafiki...

Rafiki (my server) is the first step in naming all my machines after Lion King characters :)

Media PC will become Pumba, Laptop will become Timone, phone will become Zazu, and PC will become Simba. Going to rename my GF's laptop Nala too :)

Mine are named after characters from a series of books by Piers Anthony.

Thanatos, Gaea, Chronos and Server..... Er maybe that one isn't a character then :-)
 
Mines D1... D2... etc lol. My fsmilys computers are called by (their name)-PC.

Couldnt be bothered at the time but this topic has inspired me to name them all :D.
 
Glad I'm not the only one, I try and theme them to the type of PC they are:

Poseidon - 1st attempt at water cooling
Leviathan - Water cooled in a CM Cosmos case (biggest case I've ever owned!!)
Shinobi - Passive cooled, built for silence, HTPC
Cerebro - Server
 
My machines are named after planets. All my small portable devices (iPad, phones) are named after moons.
 
At home the token server is 'fileserver' then everything is just username-pc

At work i use a naming scheme which involves the machine's purpose, index, and location.

Eg mail-01-ldn would be mail server 1, london.
 
They all get called Muppet, I am on Muppet 3 at the mo.

It's after the time I formatted the hard drive when I was about 11 or 12, thinking it would just put it back to 'factory' settings windows and all nice and fast again. A guy at my Dad's work put windows back on for me and sorted it all out, he called me a muppet for doing it over the phone apparently and then named the computer that upon sorting it out as a warning and reminder, it has stuck!
