what do you do with your empy component boxes?

Keep majority of them, some for warranty some for resale value.
Normally find a complete new build most of the boxes will fit in the case box anyway.

Keep until the resale value amounts to pennies. Though I tend to keep nice packaging (i.e. graphic cards) because they look... umm... nice!

I also have stored mine away but in a 20ft container full of crap so they are out of the way, but for the same reason as most people:
a - resale
b - returns

I keep mine in the loft, handy if you want to sell later on or if you need to RMA a item.

Agreed about keeping them. All my boxes for my parts fitted inside my case box and its now in the loft. Useful for resale and RMA, especially as some manufacturers are funny about it being in a different to standard box.

Keep the box for reselling. People tend to be more willnig to buy if in original box.

Keep all the pertinent ones for reselling. I also keep the outer postage boxes, because they come in very handy for selling other items.

I keep certain ones for when selling on and use others to keep all my excess, but now nicely organised computer tat in. Most live in my big cupboard.

I keep the reasonable sized ones in a big draw. Partly for RMA but alos because having boxes is useful.

Most of mine end up as cake boxes.

Keep mine, just easier when it comes to posting stuff for RMA or selling. Also they are useful for storing all the extra cables and manuals everything always has.
