What do you do with your humble carrot?

I love roasted carrots with a bit of honey. Actually, plenty of veg are great roasted. Also something I made a while ago and really enjoyed was Roast Carrot and Garlic soup. It was delicious, but I don't remember the recipe I followed.

...as my posting above or feed them to the dog :)

I LOVE raw carrots but can not stand them if they have come anywhere near heat. Cooked carrots, in any way, are probably my most hated food, alongside cooked mushrooms. Bleugh.
Raw all the way!

Thanks guys, I went with the honey glazed option.

I firstly trimmed the leaf and peeled the carrots to make them look cheffy, then tossed them in a frying pan with some melted butter with two smashed cloves of garlic, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. I then added a teaspoon of caster sugar and a teaspoon of honey, along with roughly 350ml of chicken stock and left them bubbling away for about 15 minutes, by which time (by some fluke) the carrots were 'a point' and all of the liquid had just evaporated, leaving the sticky glaze. They were really good!

No pics I'm afraid, but they looked and tasted great!

Edit - they basically looked like this but a bit shorter and slightly chubbier (not Chantenay though), and with a glaze:

Never eat cooked carrots, only raw.
Have tried boiled, roasted, steamed etc but have never liked the flavour

I wouldn't say I feel quite as strongly as you but I don't like carrots unless they are anything other than fresh and raw. Truly the nicest way to eat them! They are just unpleasantly sweet when cooked.

Bake with honey and wholegrain mustard
Bake with cumin
caramalise in the pan with a mixture of stock, sugar and butter
