What do you think of the Cooltek W2 case

Finshed the buld guys, The glass panel way too dark as you can barely see your hardware.

Heres a few pics.

Looks very elegant mate! Are you happy with it, is it what you hoped for in terms of size?
If the glass is too dark, would the perspex or whatever it was going to be, be lighter? If so, perhaps they could swap it.

Nice and tidy, even with the cable ties ;). I would offer to swap side panels but mine is the black version.

Your case looks so spacious compared to mine with rads in.

meed a couple of LED strips in the back to give you a good view from the outside if the panel is too dark. won't need much just some nice white ones would do it.

I think I will get another glass window cut at somepont, slightly less smoked/tinted tho. I would put nice led's in but my pc tends to be on quite a lot at night due to the rest of the family watching films ect from it and I hate lights while Im going to sleep. So much so I haven't connected the hdd/power led and I have blocked of the gpu XFX led too.

Well I am not overly happy with the temps, because when I run furmark the gpu just keeps increasing until the card throttles back at 94c, but when gaming temps are in the 70's, so not overly terrible but its a tad worrying why temps gets to its max in furmark.

Today Im going to try a slightly faster rear case fan so it will be able to chuck out the warm/hot air quicker and the last resort is to redo both the cpu and gpu paste.

Edit: Ah yeah, apparently this case I have with the glass panel is a new version of the case and all are being shipped with the glass panel now.

I dont really know what you mean, If your saying put a fan underneath the gpu exhausting the air out of the expansion slots, yeah that might work. I am guessing the heat gets trapped in the lower part of the case and the rear case fan is mainly removing the heat from the cpu heatsink, but i could be wrong.

Anyway tomorrow hopefully I am going to redo the past on the gpu and replace the rear case fan with a 1200rpm one. So I'll report back tomorrow guys.

I have redone paste on both cpu and gpu and now I am happy with the temps as they are not far off my fractal design r3 case now........

These are the temps now in burntest, it had always been hitting 94c since the case change within 5mins or so(24c room temp)

the temps playing dirt rally for about 30mins.

Phil why not try stacking your hdds on top of each other and stick one fan in the bottom of the case blowing onto the gpu? This m8ght be the best temp decrease you get.

I was going todo that originally, but it doesn't look that great, but I am very happy with the temps as they are not far off with the fractal design r3 case temps since redoing both cpu and gpu paste.

Phil what are the filters like are they any good, I assume they are on the front and bottom?

Ask me again in a few months, my r3 case had excellent filters, even after a year very little dust had got in the case, and it was great not having to blow the case out every few weeks. I just brushed the dust off the front filters.

The W2 has 4 filters, 2 for the front fans, 1 that sits on the floor of the case and another for the psu.

I would love to know the specs of the stock 140mm front intake fans as I would like to buy better fans at somepoint. But I cant find the fans anywhere online?

Also my front panel keeps vibrating, I have to give it a tap to shut it up.

Something I have found out guys, the rear fan grill blocks so much air in the case, I changed the grill for the circular style one, and it knocked of 13c of the temps
