Hey Guys,

Ok I'm more of a Mac person, but use Windows 8 a lot these days (I am a big fan of both OS's!).

I'm Mac iTunes it irreplaceable, I wouldn't want to use anything else. And on Windows, although its the same interface I love and I can use it perfectly, it's just really slow and hoggish, and gets worse with each release.

So I'm curious to know what app you use on Windows to play your Music? Don't care about video, just music I'm interested in.

Cheers guys

I use Winamp. Works perfectly for me and has Android remote control integration which is nice. I also like that it can dock as a thin bar at the bottom of the screen above the task bar with all the controls and info on it. I don't do anything advanced with it though - just all music in one play list on shuffle and repeat

Win7 64 Home here - I generally use VLC player... but if I'm feeling really lazy and can't be ****ed to fiddle with all the file associations, or if dragging and dropping is just far too much effort, I'll just highlight the file, press Enter and play it through Windows Media Player. :D

I use Foobar because it has an excellent software crossover plugin.

I have a 5.1 headset, but music is only 2.0 so I've separated the frequency range to go to different speakers in the headset. Sounds sublime because I can crank up the bass and not have to worry about muffling the treble because it has its own speaker.

Google play music. Foobar used to be my main player but now 95% of all my music is up in the cloud so it's a bit redundant these days.

Combination of winamp v5.66 or Google play music in my browser (depending on weather I'm at home or work!) :)
