What do you use YOUR macbook for?

I use mine for everything other than gaming... much nicer browsing wireless from the sofa than sitting at a desk :)
This is probably what I'll use my mac most for - just chilling out on the sofa and surfing the net. However, I quite like the idea of using a few games... How do games run on the mac, I mean performance wise? I've seen they sell games such as Quake 4, how does it run? Is there a website where there are benchmarks to view?

By the way, it's interesting to see what you all use yours for :) Thanks for your inputs :) If there are anymore mac users, feel free to show yours off and tell me what you use them for ^_^

Thanks,
Marky

@ home recording, live performance, on the road recording, audio work.

Basically audio related stuff.

Documents, Freeview TV, Net, Movies, a hell of a lot of Music, Web Design, Gaming - with Vista very begrudgingly installed

so yeah... pretty much everything and never had a problem either. :p

I have a MBP.

I use it as my main computer - everything but games (and my PC only gets used for games).

It deals with my email, contacts, web browsing, domestic accounts plus Music - both iTunes and recording. I have a mAudio MIDI controller and, as of yesterday, a Roland TD6 drum kit (MIDI) that will plug into it allowing me not only to learn (record and review) but also allows me to expand and download the sounds to the kit.
I currently have Reason but I'm considering Logic Pro 8.

I've not used the audio in. The sound is ok but I will be looking at a firewire midi & audio interface soon - mainly for the MIDI.

Just want to record from my mixer really, as long as it's good enough for that it's all good. Won't be hooking any MIDI keyboards up to it or anything. :)

My Macbook pro is primarily my work machine (work bought it for me anyway) my work is pre-press/colour man etc. but at home it gets used for general use and video editing etc.
Currently in California using it for all my pics and video, email, itunes (just got a touch ! yay!), so use it for a lot of diff things.

It seemed ok using garage band to record my TD6 'phones output.

I went for an m-Audio Firewire Audiophile for both midi and audio in/out (inc spdif).
The sound output is better by a good magnitude through the same headphones.
Although, just as my stereo does, it now shows up iTunes at 128Kbit (you can here bits disappearing due to the compression), it's better at 256Kbit. Also it shows up all the production issues too.
The real demonstrator is Reason - it's jumped a serious level. Clear as a bell.

The only issue I have found with it is the slightly concerning advice - don't hotplug it as it could be damaged permanently!
