What does get on bey mean?

Sorry bud, Im new to posting on forums. I will remember though.
 
Its pretty much "get on boy!" in normal speak but couple that with a thick South Devon/Plymouth "janner" accent and "boy" sounds like "bey". Although some people seem to emphasise saying "Bey" just in that phrase.

Other funny words that can be heard in plymouth are "Ideo" instead of "Ideal" and "purpoe" instread of "purple" the list goes on.

Far more understandable as far as im concerned than a thick northern accent though ;)

yeah ive heard them they even say some of that stuff in n.devon!! seriously.

I do say "where's it to?" and "where's that to?" etc.....retarded I know but its hard wired lol.

lol everyone from the southwest seems to but people from up north or even london find it funny. I said it to someone from the south east and they laughed.

I cant help it it just comes out!
