Have a potentially good customer after a cold call - approx £20k orders minimum, however when I have done a credit check on them the company status throws up - Pre-dissolution.

Is this bad?? What does it mean?

The company has not filed it's annual accounts and therefore the Registrar of Companies has proposed that it be struck off the Register.

It's a sign of a company in trouble.

According to the almight google, it's something to do with them not sorting out their accounts.

Simply it is very, very bad.

p.s andyd, copy/pasting of yahoo and taking credit for it, you bad, bad man.

Hmmm ok sounds like a potential very high risk customer. May aswell still quote and get them to pay pro - forma :P

You're in charge of taking orders of £20k+ for a company and you're asking this question on a Computer orientated forum?!

Could be her own company. Not everyone knows all business terms which are not always the same term for the same thing. Business isn't a science.
