Yes, noticed that too! Got 2x OC keychain but no Haribo, with my 4090. Such disappointment!I had this as well. Dropped £2,000 on a gpu and no haribo. Disgusted.

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

If only AMD had means and will to do that, maybe it would wake Nvidia up too and end up much better for customers with close to 30% of the market for each big player. As is now, Nvidia is behaving like monopolist.Aye - Unlike Nvidia think they understand that whilst they could make large, short-term profits by selling to scalpers/Cryptofarms, long term it causes damage as gamers withdraw from the market entirely or convert to console gaming. It's really admirable that OC have the mantra that they do.
Nvidia doing what they are doing is not sustainable long term - Eventually another company will catchup with them & eat the vast swabs of market they've decided to abandon.
So, your solution to problems with buying luxury products is to get rid of consumer protection laws? You didn't put much thought into that, did you?
Ah yes, extended one are a different matter as that's seller's discretion and they can do whatever that want. That's fine. Scalpers know that and will start return within 14 days and then we'll have another 2 weeks to send it back usually. So it's a month - plenty of time for them.In the UK, I would assume that it can only apply to extended return periods, but I don't know how long scalpers list something for sale before returning.
Not the best idea giving free Haribo to gamers, given the stereotype. Maybe that's why they stoppedYes, noticed that too! Got 2x OC keychain but no Haribo, with my 4090. Such disappointment!![]()

Think more carefully before you write somethingSo you think we should abolish CCR?
Ok, so you really do advocate for them to take away your rights with distance selling. Your argument talk about just one possible outcome (faulty GPU) and completely ignore a huge list of other possibilities (wrong description, wrong product, unexpected compatibility issues, unwanted gift etc. etc. - it's a huge list and goes far beyond GPUs and the likes). But you, just so you can punish scalpers? apparently would like to get rid of all protection for everyone for all products. Zero logic, lots of misguided emotions. There's a saying about it - throw bathwater away with the child. You didn't think about it for 1 second did you. You can still return the item if faulty. Gifted GPU'S come with a warning for ignorant people who don't understand. So don't buy them as a gift.
Think more carefully before you write something
The argument for what needs changing to combat scalper's is lost on you. What on earth are you on about? Under current UK law you have 14 days to initiate a return for distance bought items, no questions asked. Your looney suggestion would go against that.
Everything that is wrong with this industry, counter arguments with no productive answer. I'm really intrigued as i missed out on 3080's etc due to scalping and the chip shortage.
It'd be great if you had to provide some sort of ID and limit sales to 1 per person.
I'll be so disappointed if i lose out on an XTX if i'm here on time for release and find out some scumbags buy 10 or so to sell on for +30% on.
Many thanks,
Tom
A lot of people seem to miss this. It isn't in the long term best interest of stores or manufacturers to ignore scalping as it harms the market. In a dog-eat-dog world, you end up with fewer and fewer dogs - which isn't good if you're selling chew toys.long term it causes damage as gamers withdraw from the market entirely or convert to console gaming. Yarp & as seen with crypto/scalpers your new high revenue stream can dry up quicker than a desert after a rainstorm. Then you're left with nothing, either because PC gaming has died off, or another competitor has eaten your previous market.A lot of people seem to miss this. Because they're paying the same amount of money? Why should someone that has never spent anything get one?
Doesn’t matter. Loyalty should be rewarded.Because they're paying the same amount of money?![]()
