What does your window cleaner do?

£3.50 every two weeks for all the front windows done, including the porch. I'm happy enough with it, and the frames never seem that dirty.

But i kinda get your point though, i've been told of a time when they would come into your house and do inside and out, every window front and back. Shame peoples attitudes have changed really.

Anyway, mine charges £3.20, does all around the house and does a good job.
It is Stoke so we have decent prices.

I am with DMPOOLE, £4 for 2 doors (inc the glass above them) and 6 windows, and he does a good job (will do the guttering if asked too)

the one window cleaner i have experience of stank like rotten vegetables, took a great deal of time studying the contents of our house.

Didn't matter if he did front and back, or just front a fiver was the price.

The same guys can stink out a whole two aisles in our local supermarkets.

Lovely blokes

My window cleaner cleans windows

same. windows and sills, £3.20 every fortnight , including a conservatory

not frames and never has done. hes been doing the windows for 20+ years

i reckon that because it hasnt rained properly in a while OP is thinking window cleaner is slacking when infact it was heavy rain cleaning the webs from his frames

Round 'ere, few years ago we used to have the milkman who did most of the entire area, can't remember how much he charged. Such a nice guy.

Then, a group of really well organised young lads took over, only upon the milkman stopping doing it, charged a tenner a month, and would come about once every 2/2.5 weeks and would do every window / window frame in sight.

They were really good, quick, polite and would do a good job.

Couple of years ago, they stopped, no idea why. They used to have a little van and everything.

Everyone just does their own now :(

we used to have guys come round and put a slip through the door saying they had cleaned the windows and we were out at the time, even though someone is always at home. they then used to come back for payment.

they hadnt cleaned the windows and we checked so after 2/3 times we told them where to go. we havent had our windows cleaned in years and they look fine. all the rain in scotland is more than enough.

my dads window had bird poo all over it one morning, after 1 downpour of rain it was gone.

as long as you clean them from the inside they are more than fine.

i had a little test going on with my window cleaner, he didnt know
he CAME 2 times a month and cleaned only the front 6 windows as the back is unreachable from the front.
i noticed that he would come round, i would be in work and not know he had been. i would look at the windows but they were not very clean.
so i used my finger on the front room window and wrote " **** window cleaner " and waited for him to knock next time. he did, before i payed him i told him i wanted to check them, so we did, oh whats this is said, he looked and even repeated it out **** window cleaner " lol
i just do it myself now

lol then he laid you out for calling him a **** window cleaner, how i love these internet tough guy STORIES:rolleyes:

I'm guessing you are a window cleaner, next time moan a bit and make it look as though you are enjoying it otherwise I'm going to have to shag the miserable old cow myself.

£12 every month. Windows only
10 windows, some larger then others obviously.

Hard to sometimes see if the windows are clean or not as of their dirty inside :p
We just recently changed - sure we won't change soon as according to my sister an mum "their fit" lol

Where do you people live that need them cleaned every 3 weeks ?? on Industrial estates or building sites?
