What font do you use in your CV?

Tahoma - as I found it slightly easier to read than Ariel.

If I received a cv written in Comic Sans I wouldn't even read it. If you think that is appropriate business presentation then I don't want to work with you!

What the hell is Ariel? Isn't that the cleaning product for clothes?

Arial is the font too use. Easy to read, looks presentable etc.

A couple of yours ago I had an Administrator who hated Times New Roman with a passion and he would alter everything to Arial or similar.
Of course I would infuriate him by changing things back now and then.
Two years on and absolutely nothing I mess with ever has Times New Roman on it or gets changed immediately.

Wingdings, it shows that I'm a fun guy. Also, after deciphering it they always hire to justify the effort. Try it!

*do not try it

As long as it's simple, presentable and readable it shouldn't make any difference what font type you use.

But Calibri all day long!!

Drafting an updated version in Verdana, looks pretty good. I'll post a censored version tomorrow for you all to pour over.

Scrutinize, I'm currently using Office 2007 but have kept the font as Times New Roman since my first CV (approx. 1997!).
